Do you want to rent one of our venues? We rent out the museum hall, our smoke sauna, the Big Cabin , Goichman’s Gallery, the Church Avannaataa Ulloriaa and Commander’s bunker.

Museum Hall
The main building, where the museum hall is located, is built to resemble a peat house from the outside, but on the inside, there are all amenities.
The museum hall can accommodate 50 people. There is a laptop, wi-fi and overhead projector. The museum hall is only for rent from September to May . The museum hall can be rented for 350 € / day, + 70 € / h after 22.00.
Smoke Sauna
Finns are known for their sauna culture and here at Nanoq, we offer the opportunity to rent a smoke sauna. The smoke sauna can accommodate about 15 people. There is a large changing room and rinsing facilities. The sauna has a large veranda where you can cool off and enjoy the tranquillity of nature.
The smoke sauna can be rented for 350 € / day, + 70 € / h after 22.00.
The Big Cabin
The Big Cabin is part of the small village that Pentti started building in the 1950s and is one of the museum’s most popular attractions. The cabin is built and decorated in Finnish rural 18th-century style and has an atmospheric and mysterious atmosphere.
The large cottage can accommodate about 12 people. In the cabin, there is electricity but no water. The large cottage can be rented for 300 € / day, + 70 € / h after 22.00.
Goichman’s Gallery
Goichman’s Gallery is a beautiful hall with Professor Wladimir Goichman’s oil paintings along the walls. Goichman painted these during his Arctic travels. Goichman’s Gallery holds about 50 people.
In the hall, there is a laptop, wi-fi and projector. Goichman’s gallery can be rented for 300 € / day, + 70 € / h after 22.00.
Avannaata Ulloriaa
The Avannaata Ulloriaa Church (the North Star) was built in memory of when Christianity arrived in northern Greenland. The church can be rented for baptisms, weddings, burials and other events. There is room for about 50 people.
In the church, there is a pedal organ, altarpiece, a baptismal font, a sacristy, communion silver and a church bell.
Church rent: Full day 300 € / Wedding 200 € / Baptism & services 150 €
The Commanders’ Bunker
The building is a copy of a command post from the Finnish Winter War of 1939-1940. There is a TV and DVD player, and a grill for barbecuing. It houses about 15 people.
It can be rented for 150 € / day + 70 € / h after 22.00.
